I passionately believe that it is not just possible to have a personal, conversational relationship with God the Holy Spirit every day — it’s the very thing that Jesus died for.

In fact, as I wrote about last week, Jesus actually says it is better when he goes away and the Holy Spirit comes.

But what do we do when it’s hard to tell if it’s the Holy Spirit or our goosebumps, if someone who claims to hear God is wrong (or worse), or if we just don’t know where to start?

In it, I also share bits and pieces of my own story of going from someone who came to faith in a Bible-loving tradition that was scared of what could happen if I gave the Holy Spirit a chance to a person wildly in love with the Third Person of the Trinity.

I believe with all my heart that his is the friendship we were made for and that getting to know God is the adventure of a lifetime, and I’ve written this book that we may say yes to the adventure!
